Gerard Philipp
… started working in Stained Glass in the mid-80's. A strong influence to pursue this area was his wife, Barbara, an accomplished fine artist. Gerard recently retired as an executive from IBM having a long career with them. He plans to share his time between his management consulting business, spending time on his favorite trout streams fly fishing and to continue in his quest to capture artistic designs in Stained Glass Art.

Gerard has his primary studio along the scenic Hudson River in Poughkeepsie, NY and his summer studio in North Hero, Vt. on Lake Champlain. All of the designs are original. Some of the Stained glass artworks are one-of-a-kind while others are Limited Editions.

The current stained glass series includes " Vargah Transformed into Glass Art " and several outdoor scenes "Trout Rising to Fly" and a selection of " Famous Salmon Flies " and several vintage "Corvette" designs. Gerard also designed the sign for the Handel Gallery in Sarasota, Fl.. He will be very pleased to discuss other types of designs or specific customer requests on a commission basis and restorations. All of Gerard's fine "Stained Glass Art" is signed, dated and framed in selected hardwoods.
